Simple Trick To Know When Avocados Are Ripe!
I was like many other people who would feel avocados to see how mushy or firm they were before buying them to determine their ripeness, until I learned this one trick that changed everything. After this one simple thing I have never purchased an avocado that was anything less than perfect!
All that you have to do is:
PICK THE BUD OFF OF THE TOP OF THE AVOCADO AND IF THE COLOUR INSIDE IS BROWN THEN DO NOT BUY THE AVOCADO..BECAUSE IT WILL THEREFORE BE BROWN INSIDE! IF IT IS GREEN THEN THE AVOCADO IS PERFECT!
You should still check to make sure that it is firm to the touch and then confirm your check by picking off the bud!
IT IS THAT SIMPLE! You will never end up with a bad avocado again!
Step One: Pick up your avocado and make sure that it is firm, not too hard or too mushy.
Step Two: Pick off the bud from your firm avocado and see if it is either bright green or brown in colour inside. This avocado for example is not a good avocado since when the bud was picked off it is brown.
THIS IS A PERFECT GROUP OF AVOCADOS! 🙂 Bright green and firm.
